downtown bar & restaurant is a 150 seat Mediterranean-style seafood brasserie located in
the historic Francis Shattuck Building on the corner of Shattuck Avenue and Addison St., the
heart of the Berkeley Arts and Commerce District.
The rooms are gracious, spacious and comfortable. The Addison Room is a private dining
and conference room, which can seat up to 40. The Shattuck Room can seat
up to 140. The entire
restaurant can accomadate up to 180 for sit down events and 250 people for receptions.
The space is designed to serve as both a traditional restaurant dining room and as an inviting space
